Pre/Post Natal Fitness
Over recent years, attitudes to health, well-being and exercise have
changed greatly. As a result women are maintaining their active
lifestyles throughout pregnancy and into the post birth period and
are therefore requesting exercise programs specific to their
requirements. We are confident to offer a pre and post natal service
which will enhance self esteem, health and lifestyle.
We would
like to stress that pregnancy is not the time to begin a strenuous
fitness regime. Research suggests that a good level of fitness
before and during pregnancy can contribute to improved wellbeing,
both physically and emotionally. If you are a regular exerciser, you
can continue your program, with modifications, to accommodate the
physiological changes that are taking place.
Research
continues to support that exercise during pregnancy can be
beneficial. Pregnant women who exercise:

fewer backaches
· Have
better circulation of blood to the extremities
· Return
to pre-pregnancy weight sooner
· Enjoy
an enhanced body image
The
training concentrates on core stability and the body image
perception of the Mother to be and the new Mother. The team is led
by a qualified Personal Trainers that are certified in pre and
post-natal fitness, and are sensitive to the needs of our pre and
post-natal clients.
